Founded in 1973, Site - the Society of Incentive and Travel Excellence is the only international, not-for-profit, professional association devoted to the pursuit of excellence in incentives, a multi-billion dollar global industry.
SITE Germany was founded on Saturday, 12th May 1990 at the Hotel Kempinski Vierjahreszeiten in Munich.
The gala dinner was proceeded by a "Destination Dimensions Seminar" in the former Grand Hotel Continental organised by SITE Germany President-Elect, Günther Roeleff (R.I.P.) and headed up by SITE President, Michael J. Hurwitz (R.I.P.) and SITE CEO, Bob Vitagliano.
Around 30 participants attended including then future SITE President (1992), Patrick M. Delaney.
